TT Museum Gets Green Light A Manchester firm has been given the go-ahead to create a TT museum at Summerland, Douglas. Henry Boot will now draw up detailed proposals for the TT Experience. Its plans could include a casino, a hotel and shops. The venue was picked as the best site for the museum last year and developers were invited to submit plans. Tourism chiefs want the museum up and running by the TT's centenary in 2007 and revealed this week that the target was to re-open the venue by late 2006.
