1933 Manx junior GP - Iain Mackenzie - 31-01-2012
My grandfather , George Hodges, rode in the junior GP in 1933.
He was race number 27 on a Zenith. I am looking for any photographs of him in the race, if there are any. I have a copy of the IOM daily times of Sept 5th 1933, with the results. He was a retirement on the 4th lap with valve trouble.
I would appreciate any help.

If you Google Fottofinders, that's probably your best bet. They have large archives of older shots - in fact the guy that runs it is a member on here.

I will have the report by "The Motor Cycle" if you would like me to look him up and see if he gets a mention. Also in those days "The Motor Cycle" covered all the practices quite closely, so it'll be worth researching the previous two weeks copies.
It'll take me a day or two to dig out the material.
