different thoughts about Manx Grand Prix Changes - ROSIE - 08-05-2012
This is something completely different from the actual changes, but it does involve the MGP. What will happen to the Manx Grand Prix supporters club. This was orginally set up to fund the helicopter for practice week but as time as gone by the club has paid for one helicopter for the two weeks of racing. The club has also supported injured riders and their families for over 35 years. raising in excess of £1,000,000.00 . The club is a registered charity and therefore can not raise money for anything other than the Manx Grand Prix. Do they stop and fade out of existence ?? what a shame if they do.
secondly what will happen to all the trophy's many have been donated in memory of riders fallen at the Manx Grand Prix, some are priceless are they just to be handed over and presented at another event ??
