Christmas is coming - cpt_pants - 25-11-2014

With Christmas rapidly approaching, what bike related goodies are you expecting, or would like?
I have pointed at an MV V4, but won't hold my breath. But I have hinted at a McGuiness canvas print. I have behaved all year, so here's hoping.

I will get a TT calendar from my sister.............. everything else will be "awful stuff" I don't want or need.
I'm starting to really want a bog basic TZR250 like I used to have, I think that will be next years present to myself.......

Ha ha ha ....................... thanks for correcting my "adjective" Malcolm Haha. I'm afraid, as HRH the Mrs does like to point out, I am a bit of a gutter-like thug............swearing is all I understand. Public school education was wasted on me because I spent all my time bunking off to hang out with bikers.....

EDIT - wow, I've just noticed my bad word is still there, but it reads "awful stuff" ........... that's brilliant, there's a built in program to convert rude words! My missus would love that for me Icon_biggrin

RE: Christmas is coming - cpt_pants - 25-11-2014

Maybe I should buy myself an MV!! I would have loads of time to ride it as my wife would leave me!!

A man could do a lot worse things than that...........

It's actually an auto-correct facility that for some reason seemed to take a wee while to activate.

I saw your original posting, went back to check the word correction database (the correction was there), came back to your posting, refreshed the page and there was the correction in place.

There are lots in the database.

Malcolm

Will be putting up my tree next Monday - yay!

Won't get Road as it was decided some years ago we are a 'no present' family. I love dictatorships [Image: smiley-rolleyes010.gif]

The Tree!! Next Monday!!! (You'd have to dust it before Christmas?!)

Out here we have Dec. 5th Sinterklaas which precedes xmas, done my hilarious poems, still working on some presents, I love home made (and subtle hints were dropped by the surfers they would love to get those surf poncho's the Portugese surf dudes were using to undress under.)

RE: Christmas is coming - prefab - 25-11-2014

I could do with some socks, I've already received a jumper with an elf on it and I'll recycle the "bah humbug" hat I've worn for the last eight years!
I bought myself "Road" a few weeks ago. A "must have" for any road race fan.

RE: Christmas is coming - Rednine - 25-11-2014

We're having a "secret Santa" Christmas this year.  ie Everyone only buys one present and no-one knows who'se given the present. Sorted. Confused

RE: Christmas is coming - canamant - 25-11-2014

My present to myself will be to lose another 2 stone by April to go with the 3 stone I've lost since July.  Far cheaper and more effective than engine tuning goodies.  Roll on 2015.

RE: Christmas is coming - H2pots - 26-11-2014

What I want and what I get well be two very different things, I'm sick of socks and deoderent, "road" movie would be nice, guess I'll have to be nice to "her indoors" or at least come out of the garage for a while (which is the same as being nice ain't it?)
