Manx Radio understands the appointment of a T.T. promoter will be discussed at next week's Council of Ministers meeting on Thursday. A recommendation will be made to the April sitting of Tynwald. The aim is to move commercial aspects such as licensing, broadcast rights and retail away from the government. And to grow the TT and Festival of Motorcycling further. Manx Radio believes there are two front-runners - both off-Island enterprises.
