Know where i can buy a car on the island to use as transport for the Pre TT weekend! Preferably cheap as it would be getting left on the island!!! Cheers John

You'd be cheaper and simpler just hiring one, John. Try Athol Car Hire or Mylchreests...I think they both have online booking. You'll also know its going to keep going all weekend!

You can check out the small ads of Manx newspapers online before you go and buy a very cheap car readvertise it and sell it before you go home.
We did a deal with a girl and bought her car then sold it back to her at a small loss but still very much cheaper than hiring.

Ah, but the pedal works both ways Larry, and it has cruise control too, handy for those long boring bits on the Mountain! (dial in 134mph and relax) Leather seats good for snogging,SORRY!! snoring I meant, and they're heated too.
