Dan Sayle Fundraiser - Malcolm - 17-09-2018

My Brother Dan Sayle came off his bike during the opening lap of the Dunlop Lightweight race at the Classic TT on Saturday 25th August 2018.

Dan suffered extensive injuries including a Head Injury, a Spinal Injury, a Fractured Skull, Fractured Jaw & Cheek Bone, Broken Shoulder & Collar Bone, and Broken Leg. Dan was in an Coma for a week and still remains in serious but stable condition in the Critical Care ward at Walton Hospital Liverpool.

Dan is a true Manx Man a long time member of the Racing Community, Dan is a six time Sidecar Passenger TT winner, firstly with fellow Manx-man Dave Molyneux and with Klaus Klaffenbock in 2010 and 2011.Dan is also a two time Lightweight Manx Grand Prix winner in 2008 and 2009.

We are trying to raise money to help Dan with his long road to recovery. The money will be used for extra treatment like Physiotherapy. Also as we are unsure how long Dan will be in hospital in Liverpool it will help towards costs of family supporting him, and basically any extra help he may need with his finances while he is recovering.

Your support is much appreciated

14/11/18 *UPDATE*

Just an update about Dan.

Dan Sayle has now moved out of critical care.

He sustained head, chest and spinal injuries in a crash at Ballaspur during the Lightweight race on Saturday 25 August, and was transferred to a hospital in Liverpool for treatment.

Dan was originally described as in a 'serious' condition, and was sedated until last week (Thurs 6) when he was woken.

Then, on Monday (10), Dan the joint most successful TT passenger ever was described as talking, breathing, and moving unaided.

A further update from loved ones on social media yesterday (Wed 12) said he was showing more signs of improvement.

Thanks were extended to all the well-wishers who have shown love and support, and also to "the best hospital we could ever have wished for".

Please keep donating and sharing guys!

Your generosity is invaluable ❤️❤️
