Southern 100 Racing have confirmed that Moto3 racing machines are to be included in both the Colas Post TT Road Races and the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 International Road Races for 2019.

The 250cc Moto3 machines were previously included in the 125/400 races at the July meeting and it was proposed and approved that they be included in the 250cc/650cc races not only at the Southern 100, but to include them in the Post TT Races as well.

Clerk of the Course, Peter Oates said:

‘The Moto3 racing machines are a relatively new class which has attracted a small number of entries to date and the club has decided to include them in the 250/650cc races at both the Post TT and Southern 100 races, hoping the entries will continue to grow.’

Regulations for both the Post TT and Southern 100 International Road Races, along with the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races are currently being formulated, prior to ACU approval and will be available via the club’s official website, http://www.southern100.com early in 2019.

The dates for the 2019 Events on the Colas Billown Course are:

Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races - Friday, Saturday & Monday 24th, 25th & 27th May

Colas Post TT Road Races - Saturday 8th June

Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 International Road Races - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th July
