Hi Balti Pie and Hughietdm,
If you have a minute, could you please explain how you go about transferring the tickets to a new person? I have two tickets (deposit paid, balance outstanding) for race week 7-11 June that I had bought for my father and I. Unfortunately, my Dad has just had quite a big shoulder surgery and Doc has banned him from riding his GS for a few months (and he'd have to drive to London first from Lisbon to meet me, so too long of a trip).
I thought there was no way to get a refund of the deposit but if it's possible to transfer that would be great.
Any details or tips about safely transferring it would be very much appreciated.

From memory, I think you can just phone IOMSPCC & asked them to change the names over ( I actually went to Heysham to do it, bit I'm sure a phone call will do the job!)
01624 661661 was our preferred number, back in the day!

Thanks so much for the tip, much appreciated. Just checked the Website also, seems you can change all the details of the account including email addresses, names and registration at any time, so should be easy. I guess that SteamPacket only refuse refunds so that they don't have the hassle of reselling the tickets themselves lol
