I would like to thank all of you for the Birthday wishes you have sent to me, I really do appreciate it.
I am now at home in recovery, with the surgery having been a total success, however now having to attend Preston Royal on a daily basis for the next few weeks, as follow up care is now required.
Generally I am feeling ok, albeit somewhat tired most days, but gradually getting back up and on my feet, stronger by the day.
Thank God the pain I endured for the 2+ months prior to my surgery has been completely relieved. I owe the two surgeons who operated on me in a ten hour marathon, the sincerest thanks and with my greatest admiration for what they managed to achieve, apparently a World First I have been informed, all to be written up with the compiled documentation being published in the Medical Journal.
Hopefully when I feel a bit better, I will be able to get back to posting again on a regular basis.
