Unfortunately I can see this is how it is going to be. 2007TT the world and their dog will want to be there. I reckon some people will have missed 06 to save for it.

I think it will be a Manic fortnight, especially with the number of people who I have spoken to who think that it might be the 'Swansong' for the TT.

I live here so my accomodation is sorted Lol However I have hung up my competitive leathers this year so I will be back to Mashalling/Mechanic/Advising Newcomer Passengers if asked.

Oh yeah, I will be driving a Taxi too...so if anyone want an expensive one!

You were ripped off mate, depending on passengers and luggage and which side of Douglas tho Lol

Anyone from the TTwebsite who wants a taxi next year, I will do reasonable rates not inflated ones....can't do for free as I work for a firm

I understand. I wouldn't be a taxi driver for any price!
As for Barry....

Barry gives competitors a 50% discount

He's a Manx National Treasure (so is Colin!)

Do you have to produce your Porker Ticket to qualify for Barry's 50% off, Colin :?:

Big Grin

Come on Helen if you can afford to fly in why don't you just hire a car and pick it up at Ronaldsway?
Barry Wood charges extra to go over the Fairy Bridge!
If he goes over any part of the course he charges for a familiarisation lesson.
From Narita Airport to Tokyo a taxi can cost US$300, so I don't know what you are worried about 20 pounds for, it will cost you that much in petrol soon!!!

- cargo - 19-07-2006

Barry actually does a lot of "familiarisation lessons" free at the point of use.

I've done it as well for free.....................but Barry knows where he's going Lol Lol

Anybody who is a passenger in Fitz's taxi watch out!
Every time he drives round a left hand corner, he puts his left arm around you and tries to stick his head out of your window!! Lol

- Fitz - 21-07-2006

No that is only to you Barry and then I normally fall out

- Noddy - 24-07-2006

Right, back to the topic!

Spoke to a lass at Kells on saturday evening who mentioned that she and partner normally camp in this lady's back garden (with a seperate outhouse with toilet/wash basin, which suits them fine/privacy etc.) all for 12.50 per person/per night - for next year she has been informed the rate will be 35 pounds pp/pn - Millennium prices or what Evil Missed my chance to air my thoughts as I was in this Beer Garden an hour later and who's at the table beside us - one Minister David Cretney!

....alright Ago? when will we see ya racing back home???

- FC - 24-07-2006

I was told that a well known company has been buying up all available space on the boats for next year, in the hope of making a quick buck at the expence of true fans. Was thinking about renting out my cruiser berted in Douglas for next year Lol

- FC - 24-07-2006

Barry has had to sell part of his taxi business off, but this is taking the 'pee'
