Gary Jess must be one to watch in the newcomers race if his form in Ireland and at Scarborough is anything to go by, in the Senior and 600 races, Mick Skene, Phil Gilder, Ian Pattinson, Paul Duckett, Mark Parrett are all capable of rostrum positions, if Seamus Greene is fit by then he may do OK but in all honesty if Gary Jess takes to the course he will not be far away in any race he enters. Also watch out for anyone Davy Wood is helping he keeps unearthing good Irish road racers.
