KIWIS DOWN! - Anonymous - 29-05-2002

All 3 Kiwis at the TT have now had an off!
Our man Nigel Bish came off on oil at Windy Corner on Monday morning, but is OK.
Warren Turner had a spectacular crash when he flipped his 600 at Ballacrye. He thought he was getting a tank slapper when the bars starting wobbling, so wound the power on, and when the back wheel gripped after the jump it flipped at 150mph! Although not badly injured his right hand is swollen up and he doesn't think he'll be able to ride.
Finally Bruce Anstey dropped it at Governors last night, perfectly OK but somewhat enbarrassed!

You missed Shaun Harris Mike. He's stayed on so far (and is doing quite well).

I met him for the first time this morning and he seems like a nice bloke. COuld be a fly in the ointment on that 600 Suzuki of CD's. It's pretty well sorted.

Regards to Bish!

Paul

Also local Kiwi man in the sidecars, Chris Lawrence is going steady enough with Jamie Scarffe in the chair (no.44)........although I've been reliably informed that their fairing has swapped paintwork with one or two kerbs so far this week! lol

Kind Regards

There are at least two more kiwis competing this year.Mike King-#77 F1 on a leased R1 after writing off his GSXR at the NW200,and Nick Pedley.

Any other Kiwis entered?
