The story unfolded as follows -
End of lap one saw Fisher & Long lead from Bell & Carpenter and Moly & Colin Hardman.
Rod Bellas & Geoff Knight call in the pits at the end of lap one.
End of lap two, Fisher & Long still leading from Bell & Carpenter with Gary Horspole in third, Moly is sitting in 4th. Time gaps 6, 17 & 2 seconds.
Rob Fisher and Rick Long cross the line to take their ninth win, equalling the wins of Mick Boddice and Siegfried Schauzu.
Ian Bell and Neil Carpenter finished second with Gary Horspole and Kevin Leigh taking third from Dave Molyneux and Colin Hardman.
