I would like to know why u say this is dodgy and sad??? Also as i have posted this link under my name, i am sure that is safe enough..... not hiding anything, all it does is cut down on ebay an paypal cost as i am sure u are aware they take a percentage per pound, so for that amount that could take quite alot!

a/ one is offered a degree of protection by Paypal and they clearly advise us of the risks of negotiations and sales outside their control.
b/ My "sad" observation is in line with my comments about people who sell replica trophies, cup and awards. Most of them are short of cash and do not realise the significence of what they are selling. I have many of my fathers trophies all with his name engraved on them..He has been dead 16 years...Maybe I should sell 'em but I feel they are a link to him.
So I am surprised a sidecar winner is selling this rare item..

Dan is selling 1 of 4 watches he has.
This is the watch he receiced after last years race. this now leaves 3 watches, 1 for Jake and 1 for Josh the other an keepsake for us, mayb even in time a deposit for our home. The reason he has choose to sell that 1 is this year he won 3, 1 for 1st race 1 for second an 1 for over all winner, those 1's being kept all 2gether as a set.
If Dan only had the 1 then it would not be sold it would be kept.
Each watch costs to be insured and costs to be kept in a safe place, as each watch is valued at just shy of 7k then for them to be just left lying around the house is a bit silly.
And just to add, its not just a case of being skint, i dont know if you are aware of what we have been through over the past 10 months, but Josh was born very prem an needed alot of care (and still does), we are hopefully selling this watch to put something back in to our special care baby unit here on the island as this is a registered charity and needs all the money they can get. Ok so its not motorsport related charity but it is something that is extremely close to our heart as with out the scbu unit our little boy may not be here now!
