The IOM Government subsidised Greenlights costs up to 2006 (I think) then withdrew their support. Greenlight couldnt afford to fund the filming and production on their own so that was that.

Another lost opportunity.......Holland bike show. There are plenty of 'classic' competitors who do not attend the MGP due to the cost and not their age.

Advertising and promotion around £40k :huh: Run the event around £900k Government costs around £300k errrrrrrrrm anyone else see an inbalance here. The MGP is not promoted anywhere near enough......

Hummmmph If they are allowed for this bike surely allowed for others. Keihins of the day are available, fair enough very expensive if you really want them.

Presume this would also mean a problem for competitors coming over to the PreTT/Southern and leaving motorhomes etc on the island until the TT/MGP (saves a ferry crossing charge)
