Join our marshalling team – help us support the racing!

A big thank you to everyone who turned out to help marshal last year!  It was very much appreciated, and we look forward to working with you again.

We’re keen to get more of you involved this year – you do not need to do every session, but every session you can do helps us all: the marshals, the organisers, the teams and the riders.

As you know, the IOM TT Marshals’ Association provides vital support around the famous 37.73 mile TT Mountain Course, ensuring the road is safe and the racers are looked after.

But, before a wheel can even turn towards Bray Hill, we need a crew of more than 550 people out around the course, for every practice and every race session - so we’re always keen to recruit new marshals - and that’s where you and your team members, friends and family come in!

You’ll be teamed up with an experienced crew to learn the ropes, we’ll sort you out with high-viz, and we even have a minibus if you need transport to get to your marshalling point (limited spaces, book early via the office).

So please join us - support the marshals who support the riders – and here’s to a great Classic TT & Manx Grand Prix 2019!

RE: A Message from the Orange Army
It's disappointing that of all the people going over for the Classic TT, there are not enough marshals , witness tonight's delay due to
'moving marshalls around' , presumably meaning a shortage, put me right if necessary.  Too many people content to hang their selfy sticks out and booze, but not help to run the event safely.
I have marshaled, many years ago, but simply cannot afford to go any more, so it's annoying to see these slackers who are happy to stand and watch, without lending a hand.

I don't think its that bad numpty tbh. Saturday is always a struggle at MGP and the weather was against them too.  Sunday was simply that a number had other plans and left him a little short. It'll be fine from now onwards.
