Re: Maurice Gibb RIP
Maurice had achieved a lot in his relatively short life.I really thought he would pull through.Just shows that you must do what you want, when you want,or you may never get there.A sad week for road racing and one of the best groups on the music scene.

Yes, very sad news indeed, playing the Bee Gees "One Night Only" cd at the moment. End of an era for us 40+ age group.Condolences to the Gibb family.
Stella.

Re: Maurice Gibb RIP
I would like to add my condolences to all the others...
Yes, the end of another era; I remember their first record very clearly and it was part of my life from my courting days......

This plus "Ronnie" Smiths death has placed a lot of gloom on a weekend early in the new year-----

I hope to see birthday boy Hislop at the ALLY PALLY show--
Will I see you ALL there ????

Re: Maurice Gibb RIP
Very bad news. During my time in hospital in 2001 I often heard an old song "Ellan Vannin" and this music helps me to go well again. My deepest condolences to the whole family.
