Had an e-mail Thursday from the Licensed Victuallers Association informing all the members that the roads will be closed at 12.00 noon on Saturday 24th instead of 2.00pm. Eddie is a sector marshal and they have not been informed of this as yet. Has anyone else any information. Need to know as we have a function that day and obviously the guests need to be aware of the correct closing time, nothing in the papers either.

Don't know when it was changed, as I have been informed previously that Roads Closed was from 14:00hrs.

Classic TT Race Day 1 - Saturday 24 August

(Roads Close at 1200 hrs until no later than 1800hrs)

1245-1445 Race 1 – 500cc Classic TT Race (4 laps)
Followed by MGP Practice
1515-1540 Newcomer A, Senior, Junior, SuperTwin
1545-1610 Newcomer B/C, Lightweight
Followed by Parades
1615-1630 1967 Senior TT Re-enactment Parade
1630-1730 VMCC Closed Road Parade

So why would any one of these incompetents even think of advising Rosie or Eddie ???
