why this photo so small.? help

For whatever reason, there is a size control code included within the hidden text. This is limiting the size of your uploaded photograph to a size of 75 x 75.

It may well be that you have used a small sized pic from your source on "flickr", which is being directly copied, rather than the original sized photograph.

The photograph is 800 x 517 and has a resolution of 96 dpi giving it a size of 130kb approximately

It needs to be resized slightly to approximately 640 x 400 and the dpi needs to be reduced to 72 dpi, thereby reducing the size down to about 85kb

Photographs larger than this, take extra time to load and open on peoples PCs etc, and are not really ideal for general internet viewing.

They also tend to slow down the overall the opening of  a Thread that has multiple photographs installed, such as the one for the TT Countdown.

I keep on posting this connection for those who want to play with photographs - so please download this small FREE programme and play about with it in order to learn how to manipulate your photographs for Internet use.
