ARMOY Road Races

Competitors for this year’s Armoy Road Races SGS International ‘Race of Legends’ are reminded that entry forms must be submitted by Monday 4th July 2016.

Now in its eight year, Armoy Road Races take place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July 2016 in Armoy. The event is one of Northern Ireland’s prime motorsport gatherings, attracting motorcycle riders both locally and internationally. The national road race is firmly established in the road racing calendar and this year looks set to be another exciting and hotly contested event.

Bill Kennedy, Clerk of the Course at the Armoy Road Races said,

“We’re on countdown now to the big event and entry forms can be downloaded HERE,  the closing date is Monday 4th July and I would advise anyone thinking about entering to get their form submitted as soon as possible as the Club won’t be taking entries beyond the closing date. For the last two years we’ve been oversubscribed and I hate having to turn late entrants away but I must. Rules are rules and it’s important that we adhere to the guidelines set.

“The Armoy Road Races has got bigger and better as each year progresses and the Club has been working hard since last year’s event so we are gearing up for another adrenaline filled spectacle. We are looking forward to welcoming all our riders and fans in a weeks’ time.”

The event is part funded by Tourism Northern Ireland and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. Bike Week runs from Sunday 24th July until Saturday 30th July 2016 with the SGS International ‘Race of Legends’ featuring on the Saturday 30th July 2016.
