It has been reported on Facebook late this afternoon, that Des, one of the Islands great motorcycle racing Supporters/Sponsors has very sadly passed away.

Des was co-founder and a partner with Percy in the Wilson & Collins Kawasaki run team for many years and latterly with Ronnie Russel in the Collins & Russel team


Rest in peace Des.

Bit of a legend was Dessie, and there  will be many who will be sad to hear of his passing. He has suffered such a debilitating disease of late, yet he still made it to the Paddock last year.
Ronnie Russell will be particularly sad, and has been a terrific support to Des over the last few years.
My sympathy to his family and to Ronnie.
