Seconded, there's always some who think they could do better ! Perhaps they should put their hands up & volunteer to help run things instead of winging all the time !
Grey-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

I would give it a go, not saying I would be better or worse but I would certainly bring back wet races and scrap practices in race week, oh and ban the Placcy Bikes.

And would you invent a wet tyre that would last the two laps.  When it could be dry from Ramsey to the the Creg and wet round the rest of the corse?

Given we are only going to lose one race when the weather has been rubbish plus numerous other problems (including wallabies on the course!) then the CoC has done an excellent job.

Nah, I would leave that to Dunlop, Metzeler etc. Why don't they use standard road tyres?

I couldn't agree with you more, H. Gary Thompson is a huge asset to the TT and continues to handle the inherent difficulties of his role with real class & great aplomb. If Mervyn Whyte does decide to step down from position at the NW200, the organisers needn't look any further than GT in my opinion (assuming Gary would be interested in undertaking the job). The guy's a star.
