Southern 100 Racing and The Colas Group are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached between the two organisations for Colas to become a partner in the races held on the Billown Course in the Isle of Man, which is home to ‘the friendly races’.

The partnership will result in the 4.25-mile southside course being officially known as The Colas Billown Course for the next two years, with an option for a further two years after 2019.

The Colas Group is delighted to strengthen our long-term relationship with the Southern 100 Club through circuit sponsorship.

Colas Isle of Man’s Managing Director Clive Callister says

‘Colas has operated from Billown Quarry alongside the circuit since the 1970's and fans will have seen our name around the course for many years.

‘We are excited to be strengthening our links with the Club and the thrilling races, which are growing in popularity year on year. The Colas Group are proud to see the circuit renamed as the Colas Billown Course reflecting Colas’ involvement in the races and the local community.’

George Peach, Southern 100 Race Secretary said:

‘Southern 100 are very pleased to have Colas join us as a partner in the three road races we run on the Billown Course annually.

‘The Colas Group have been involved in the back-ground for a long time and with their increased involvement and commitment to the Colas Billown Course and the Pre-TT Classic Road Races, the Post TT Road Races and the Southern 100 International Road Races can only be to the mutual benefit to all involved, competitors, officials, spectators and fans alike.’
