New Southern 100 Website To Be Launched

Southern 100 Racing are pleased to announce that a new website dedicated to ‘the friendly races’ will be made live on Friday 10th December 2021 at 8.00am.

The current website had served its purpose and needed an update or redesign and was put out to tender. CJS Websites were the successful option, and the race organisers feel the new website will serve everyone interested in the annual road races held on the Colas Billown Course very well indeed, for up-to-date news, information, history and much more.

Callum Staley BSc (Hons) owns and operates CJS Websites is no stranger to the southside races having been a regular contributor of photographs taken as a young spectator, well before he was eligible to apply for a Media Bib and continues to provide excellent images, along with other accredited photographers, which is much appreciated by the race organisers, Southern 100 Racing.

Features of the new website http://www.southern100.com will include:

 Brand New Website
 Entry System for all three meetings including payments online
 Ticket Sales for Grandstand
 Online 100 Club Application
 Countdown to next race meeting
 Colas Billown Circuit Records
 ‘Media Hub’ including online Media Applications
 Previous Champions
 Shop
 Latest News
 Previous results for the history of all three meetings

All of these may not be available at the time of the website launch however at the right time they will made live as the 2022 racing season approaches.

Social Media is a vital part of communication with the public today and it is important that organisations, such as Southern 100 Racing maximise this with its own dedicated website, where anyone can look at and obtain correct and current information on everything that affects racing around the Billown Course, both locally, Island wide and even further afield.

Club Secretary Rachel Palmer said:

‘On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Callum for his commitment to designing the new website in a relatively short time scale, which will serve us well as race organisers ensuring that competitors, officials, marshals, the all-important fans and enthusiasts and the general public receive all the information they need regarding events organised by Southern 100 Racing.’
