In the TV coverage the side cars looked like they were getting quite out of shape over Ago's. Surely this weeks tragic events are going to prompt some sort of rule change.

In my years I can't remember a crash at Ago's never mind 2. Could it be lack of set up time for the outfits. Have the F2 outfits had many meetings since the covid thing to sort there set up out?

Following the two disastrous Sidecar TT incidents I suspect that Ago's leap won't be a feature of the TT Course in 2023!

Even the Birchalls outfit looked very very unstable there.

The whole section of road /course past the traffic lights at Bray Hill bottom to QB was cold planed right back and relaid/resurfaced between TT 2019 and this year(I think in 2021).....not getting into who but a top step sidecar crew who pulled under red flag into to where I was stationed were saying they used to fly very straight over Ago's but now they don't....

Ago's leap, can't be a coincidence. Father and son, terrible, RIP. My regrets to their family.

RE: Sadly another statement, the Stocktons this time
All the footage I've seen of sidecars at Ago's this year has shown outfits looking very skittery and "on the edge". Clearly I have no idea if the road has physically changed, and even less idea of how a sidecar feels over it, but I don't recall it being like this in any previous year.

As ever it's all about managing personal risk and reward, but it does seem that maybe rolling off a little might be appropriate now where it maybe hasn't previously been necessary.

Somehow the loss of father and son seems more severe. I hate to think what their wife/mother and other family are going through. RIP.

I couldn’t agree more with each of your three statements, particularly your third statement, I am always shocked and saddened by a fatality but that particular accident really shook me to the core. My sincerest condolences to all the family members and friends of each loss.
