Apart from Casey winning the title, I got so much pleasure in seeing Capirossi winning the race. Yes, tactics certainly paid off for him. What I didn't enjoy was seeing the problems faced by Rossi which appeared to be tyres? straight away after changing to slicks.

Fantastic achievement by Ducati too.

A small manufacturer taking on and beating the might of the Japanese with with about a 10th of the workforce in their r & d team.

Along with their successes in World Superbikes over the year's this completes the amazing racing results they have amassed.

Congratulations from me to the Italian workforce.

Maybe it could be Triumph in the future, similar size company.

What a nice dream that is !
Cheers, Kim (geezer!)

Just checked the results and Shinichi Itoh got the last point for 15th.

Must have got him out of suspended animation or something.
