RE: Ulster Grand Prix Schedule
The Weather has been appalling this afternoon- only 2 and a half sessions run.
However, it seem they are just about to send out the Superbikes in a controlled practice session, despite standing water on the track and burst drains Sad!

RE: Ulster Grand Prix Schedule
Superbike session red flagged- track conditions just too dangerous.
Not sure what will happen tomorrow now- apparently Riders are not allowed to practice and race on the same day.
It looks as though the race schedule will be reshuffled, as many riders have not turned a wheel tonight.

All sounds very familiar. I thought we would all drown last year.

RE: Ulster Grand Prix Schedule
No one has turned a wheel yet today, although the sky is clear and mist has gone. Apparently a resident has parked her car on her own property but in a dangerous position close to the track, following a row with a marshall the evening before.
Several riders are now viewing the car, to see if they feel that the practice and races can go ahead.

Meantime, some 120 plus riders, and their teams are twiddling their thumbs!smilie

RE: Ulster Grand Prix Schedule
It has now been decided that the practice can commence, cars not on the line, and straw bales have been used around it Yahoo.

Here's hoping for an incident free day
