I was on the IOM showing a newcomer round last weekend. We had a great trip and my newcomer went home happy and much more confident about taking on the Mountain course in August.
Huge thanks are due to those who helped Barry Wood, Keith McKay, James McCullagh and Jules Ray. And not forgetting The Witch for her very kind hospitality.
My newcomer was most impressed by the warm and friendly reception we received everywhere we went. Even the Manx weather put on a show for us with pouring rain at Sulby followed one lap later by blazing sunshine.
