Who in '72
Whilst browsing for shots for the revised version of Travelling Marshals of the Isle of Man, we came upon this shot of an unidentified rider of this TMs triple.

Taken in 1972, we had the name of Mike Nicks from MCN - not him.

Click on pic for bigger view.

Can anyone recognise him?

Bill, I don't know if you remember Mike Nicks, but you're right, it definitely isn't him on the bike! I once remember doing a test with Mike on Cheney Triumph ISDT bikes, and he was no great rider. Bloomin' good journalist though.
I am amazed that no one has responded to your querey. Surely someone will recognise him? In my opinion, it will be a MGP rider who retired in the late 60's early 70's. Ken Huggett?
Just a stab in the dark, 'cos I've no idea.

The face looks like a Martyn / Martin ? who I believe worked for NGK plugs, I remember him selling us plugs for the Velo when I worked for Geoff Dodkin.

Yes Nick, that's the guy I had in mind, still puzzling over who got to gallop a TM bike.
