John Milligan - British Formula Racing Club
John Milligan, who many may remember running the British Formula Racing Club, passed away April 15, 2010.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday May 4, at 2.00 pm in St. John's Church, Coltishall, followed by a private cremation and gathering at The Goat Inn, Skeyton.
Arrangements by Broadland Funeral Services, 102 Norwich Road, Wroxham, Norfolk, NR12 8RY. Flowers may be sent to them, or if wished, donations which will go to the RAF Benevolent Fund.

The photo shows John and Joan with Hugh and Eunice Evans, weighing-in for the 1970 Senior TT. The BFRC won many club team prizes at the TT.
I recall John and Joan always running firm, but fair race meetings. At one Lydden meet, Dennis McMillan was riding the Ongar 500 Honda in open races. One push on the seat, one push of the start button and he was gone!
The next race, all on the line when John goes up to Mac, takes a thimble out of pocket and tapes it over the starter button!
The next race, One push on the seat, one push of the start button and he was gone again - he had wired the starter to the horn button!
