I have not been asked to compile a results book this year. All the results are available on the websites. The Sidecar Race I results as listed are incorrect, these attached are the official ones, with 27 finishers, signed off by Eddie Nelson.

Many thanks Bill for your prompt reply. It is a great pity if the Official Results Books are no longer available, but as you say, the results are available on websites.
I hope the MGP will continue to have their results books.

RE: 2010 TT Results Book?
I used to return from the TT with all information in hard copy, i.e. booklets, press releases and broadsheets. They are still kept in yearly packs in my loft and are readily retrievable....

Now it is all on internet, which even at my advanced age, I actually appreciate, but we used to love the TT Specials, and sponsored results books which were and still are collectables. They were the main and accurate sources of TT info and you didn't have to Google or Yahoo them.

Maybe Charlie Lambert could put up an e-page containing all of his blogs to which could be added the results.

But reality says that the costs could be prohibitive ...or are they ????

That is good news that the MMCC will continue with the Results Book.

I have been 'studying' the 2010 TT Superbikes Results, and I cannot understand how on Lap 4 Clinton Pienaar was 58th (and last), on lap 5 he seems to have disappeared from the results, yet by lap 6 he is 53rd(and last). Am I right in thinking it is just a printing fault on the Lap 5 results?

It seems likely that the results posted were incomplete, as happened with the sidecar A race.

RE: 2010 TT Results Book?
Dear Bill and dear friends:
it's a pity that we have not results book 2010. A black hole in TT history.
For example, at my home in Italy I have an archive of every year, and for 2010 in internet I can't find which are the riders retired without have completed the first lap of every race, 'cause we have only names of the rider in race at the end of the very first lap.
At the end of the day we can have more details about TT 1907 than TT 2010... That's incredible!
Can you, dear Bill, please, tell us in the TT races 2010 which are the riders retires just before the end of the first lap in every race? Thx for your attention!!! ;-)))
