Honda Motor Europe is delighted to announce an exciting two-rider line-up for its 2017 Road Racing assault at the North West 200 and Isle of Man TT in the Superbike classes. Re-signing for the Honda Racing team is TT legend John McGuinness, who will be joined by Guy Martin on the all-new Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2.
With the recent news that Radcliffe Racing has signed, talented rider Jamie Coward on a two-year deal, the Castletown based team has confirmed that they will be racing at their "home" event, the Steam Packet Southern 100 International Road Races in July on board the BMW S1000RR and Honda CBR600 machines.
Twenty-three time TT Race winner John McGuinness, riding the Team Winfield Paton, won his first Classic TT Race in todays Bennetts Senior Classic TT Race on the Isle of Man. The Morecambe rider, who has retired in his three previous attempts, set a new lap record of 113.342mph and race record in the process.
