Australian Cameron Donald delivered a statement of intent in tonights qualifying session at the 2012 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy with a lap of 129mph but the evergreen John McGuinness was able to clock 129.411 to remain at the top of the qualifying leaderboard. In the sidecars the newly formed pair of Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle posted the fastest time of the week with 112.80mph.

John McGuinness and Dave Molyneux, both multiple champions in the solo and sidecar classes respectively, topped the leaderboard in tonight’s qualifying session at the Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy. The pair, with 31 race wins between them both posted early warnings to their rivals ahead of Saturday’s first race day.

Having seen some of its closest races in recent years, the two 3-lap Sure Sidecar races are again set to thrill with another top class entry assembled. Although Austrian former World Champion Klaus Klaffenbock, winner of 3 out of the last 4 races has hung his leathers up, that is more than countered by the return of fourteen time TT race winner Dave Molyneux.

This year's Monster Energy Isle of Man TT Supersport races are again set to be two of the most thrilling of the 2012 meeting, with seven former race winners confirmed for this year's event. John McGuinness, Michael Dunlop, Ian Hutchinson, Ian Lougher, Ryan Farquhar, Gary Johnson and Bruce Anstey will all be looking to add to their victories, with a host of competitive riders looking to win their maiden TT's in a race that has been decided by the smallest margins in recent years.
