The V&M Racing team were celebrating today after Scotsman Jim Moodie broke the
Suzuki stranglehold on the 2002 Isle of Man TT races, when he romped to victory
on the teams 600cc R6 Yamaha in the Junior 600 event, by a comfortable thirty
three second margin.

After a week of practicing in dismal weather conditions, the V&M Racing Team
took a hard earned podium finish in today\'s opening TT Formula 1 race, when
Scotsman Jim Moodie took his V&M Racing 1000cc R1 Yamaha to a well-deserved
third place, despite suffering severe handling problems with his machine.
