Introducing the TT Website Columnists

We are pleased to announce that from now on we will be bringing you regular columns from some of the top names in Road Racing. We have three very varied writers to start off with from differing areas of the sport and will be introducing more as time goes by.

So without further a do, here they are -

John Shand - TT Entrant
johnshand@ttwebsite.com
John Shand is well known to you all from his contributions to this site, and his postings on our message board. He is one of the most experienced and successful entrants currently supporting the TT, and his views on the TT and Road Racing in general are highly respected and his way with words, and witty sense of humour greatly admired. John will be remarking on the issues concerning our sport throughout the year as well as letting us know of his own plans for TT 2002.

Brian Kneale - Manx Grand Prix frontrunner
briankneale@ttwebsite.com
Brian is a Manxman who lives on the TT Circuit and has been racing bikes since he was 16. He has never been really interested in short circuit racing, and has had most of his success on the roads, finishing on the podium at the Southern 100 and Manx Grand Prix on several occasions. This year, the reigning Manx Forgotten Era Champion has campaigned his own RG500cc Suzuki in the British Championship for the first time. Brian will be keeping you up to date on what he is up to and what his plans for 2002 are in his regular column.

Ian Lougher - TT Superstar
ianlougher@ttwebsite.com
Ian Lougher needs no introduction. He has been competing at the top of the sport for years and has won regularly at the TT, North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix plus numerous other places during his illustrious career. As he approaches the twilight of his career, Ian has never been riding better as he showed at the recent Ulster Grand Prix. He will be keeping you up to date on his progress for the rest of the year and throughout 2002, when he hopes to have his best season yet.
