The organisers of the Manx Grand Prix and pleased to announce that following our comprehensive public consultation, the Department of Infrastructure has approved the 5pm road closure for Saturday 27 August (in addition to Saturday 20 August granted in 2010).
The Manx Motor Cycle Club are extremely grateful to the residents adjacent to the Mountain Course and other interested parties for their positive response to the consultation.
The granting of the official road closing order will allow the MMCC to comply with new ACU ruling and the Newcomers race over three laps will open the 2011 Manx Grand Prix on the Saturday evening.
