R.I.P. Jochem
Indeed .. thoughts and best rgds for all involved.
RIP Jochem. Condolences to all involved.
I was at the 11th when this happened, and was horrible thing to witness.
I have to say a HUGE shout out to all the marshalls, TM No2 Jim Hunter, AIRMed, and a nurse who was spectating.
They NEVER gave up on Jochem, and did everything the could and more, for far longer than most would do. All done professionally, and with dignity.
If Jochem could have been saved with willpower that day, it would have been a different outcome, but it was not to be.
rip mate.
