Did anyone ever see the Steve Gibbons Band?
I never did but I'd be fairly sure they played every night I was ever at a TT.
Funnily enough I wanted to see Steve Gibbons for years, and one year they did a gig in Morecambe, before they got on the TT boat later that night/next morning.
we were really looking forward to it, buzzing we were , ready for our TT holiday a few days later & we imagined that they were up for it too.
it was, and remains, the only gig we've ever walked out of, still gutted even now & so sorry.
What was that black art deco place they used to play towards the north end of the prom? Was it the Paramount or something?
Ya paramount then think it become flags. Its still there at last tt but don't think it's open.
Yeah Paramount City is still there but been closed for a while, (good number of years infact)and has since been sold and nothing seems to have been done with it since, such a shame.
Probably be apartments!!!.
@1886 Big Stage are having a TT festival in the Villiers Square Douglas going to be international acts, which is going to be on for 16 day's.
