One month today at this time I'll be getting outside something from the Port Erin chippy before heading to Ballakeighan for the first Pre-TT practice session.

So, when is everybody going and what's the first thing on the agenda when you get there?
One month today I'll be on the 02:15 ferry from Heysham

Arrival at 06:15 so probably the Caff for a full breakfast and then on to Peel Campsite for 2 weeks in my motorhome

Will have my classic race Honda with me and can't decide whether to bring my Suzuki GSX-R1000R or my Royal Enfield Continental GT535 to accompany her.....
i'm going early doors around the 22nd and staying on til 18th - have scored some property work at a mates house, birthday in between and lots of catch-up paddleboarding and fish n chips in Port Erin and Ramsey.....am driving one of the TTMA Response Cars again every session and race so hopefully see you at Parliament Sq Mike ... and anybody else who's marshalling might fund themselves in my car......i'm more excited this year than last year - think last year with all the previous malarkey I wasn't totally sure it was going to happen until it did..
Out Sunday 28th 0215hrs unless a 'Pool sailing pops up, until Friday 16th. Staying at the beach end cottage on the corner of Beach Street in Peel at the cottage of the son of a former friend.

The cottage is being sold next autumn and I reach 76 during the stay, DVLA are trying to revoke my licence, big eye test on Thursday, so may well be my last year.

I'll be marshalling at Laurel Bank 2 every session, often on the radio at the Pumphouse at the Manx, but first and probably only TT for me, so don't know how I'll fit in. Be taking my BSA Super Rocket this year as I ride the prewar BSA rather more gently.

Anyone thinking of a meet-up? I'm getting concerned on the future of our forum as renewals are coming up again and the only contact I have had recently from the new owner has been about selling the forum. Might be an idea to contemplate fund raising and the mechanics of keeping the site going. We have to be grateful he has kept it going a year after Malcolm's passing.
Another thing that has been mentioned for the forthcoming TT is putting up a plaque in tribute to Malcolm somewhere on the course.

I'm drifting off topic here might need new threads.
Me and the misses will be heading out on the 1st June on the i think the 6.46pm ferry from Liverpool and this year we will be staying at a bed & breakfast at Kerrowmoar on the TT course instead  of Port Erin wich is a bit sad the lady who we have stayed with for the past 15yrs or more has dementia so looking forward to it.
I'm not attending the TT this year, instead I'm having another crack at the Parish Walk which follows the TT. My 2023 Mountain Course fix will be at  the MGP. I'll be on my own this time as my fellow marshal (my wife) doesn't want to come.
Early hours of the 29th. Pitching up at Glen Lough in the campervan with wife and daughter. No riding motorbikes for me at the moment.
I'm on the early morning ferry from Liverpool . Land 6am I think. We deffo need to sort something out for Malcolm. I put a plack on a tree a govners few years back. It's still there no one has ever tempered with it. It could be a place to put one
That should read 6am on the 1st
BMC is doing a round island cruise the day after we were coming back so have extended our stay two days until Sunday 18th.
2nd of June for us, my 22nd TT and my dad's 23rd TT.
Cannot wait.
DVLA have revoked my driving licence, have to apply for a medical review licence rather urgently.

Cannot push bike over the mountain!!
Landing on the 1st June, b&b, leaving on 11th June: Old Market Inn anyone?

We'll be there at some juncture, now Daves left I'm not sure how it'll pan out, but it seems Colin may well keep it as is (or was!)
I see the charity T shirts are available again this year.

We sail 2nd June 11.45, Mannannannannan & I'm scheduled to return 11th, we'll see!
Similar boats to the capt above. Out on the 2nd of June at 11:45, back on the 11th in the morning. Both heysham.

If senior postponed a day then I'll miss it but that's the way it goes.

You should book my ferries pal 😁😁 that would make my life far easier on the mad book a ferry day.

There's a coffee on the boat in it for you 😁😁
Out on 1st June from Liverpool and back on the 10th.
Thought the senior was on the Friday but some begger changed it.
Going to miss it now. Feck it!!!
This time next week I'll be floating about in the Irish Sea. Hopefully on a boat....! Accreditation is organised, camera gear squared away. Just need to do some laundry, take the dog to his holiday digs and I'll be good to go. Seriously thinking about switching to an earlier sailiing...
