Full Version: Anthony Gobert passes away, aged 48

Very sad. 48 years old. No age at all.
R.I.P.
Being a local hero this has got quite a bit of coverage here. He's been essentially destitute living on the Gold Coast for quite a few years and getting into trouble a fair bit (mainly drugs related apparently)

He lit a fire under WSB when it was already great series but unfortunately he wasn't able to fulfil his promise.

As mentioned, excellent article by Matt Oxley but what a really sad history.. A simply tragic waste.

Indeed, i guess some just have it in their nature.

I guess some that have exceptional talent also have exceptional demons.
