I still reckon Ian should write a book on 50+ years at the TT.

Hmmm...I'd like to hear Anneka's side too...
Here's some evidence of a happy couple of days at the 1984 TT....

Anneka and I had a drink or two outside the beer tent behind the grandstand (I paid) with co-star "Arnold Buggins" and then I spent some jolly time watching a kids TV programme being made "When Arnold won the TT on a Velocette", script based very loosely on "No Limit"..........................very loosely !!!

A number of exotic Island venues were used including a smelly steaming pigsty with real smell and steam, a hen house with real hens, the Airport with real air, the Faerie Bridge with real fairies and the Tower of Refuge with real refugees. Honest !!!

Arnolds part was taken by Roger Walker who was Bunny Charlson in the ill-fated soap Eldorado !! Anneka re-enacted her TV challenge part in Treasure Hunt as they searched for clues as to the baddy who was jeopardising and sabotaging Arnolds attempts....just like the real thing.

Cast of thousands (of fans, fans pretending to be racers, real racers and boyscouts)

I have the video of this prog which went out after that years TT.
It is quite different from the run-of-the-mill TT Videos (Joking of course) Can anyone else remember it ???

see http://www.bbhmg.com/RICE.jpg

The rest is between Anneka and me but she had a beautiful necklace on which looked like the one from "Masquerade"----

Do you remember "Masquerade" ????
Put this URL in your "favourites" and play it when you dream of Mann.

Lumps to throat !
Absolutely Brilliant, thanks for that Ian.

Now can we get back to the lady in question, more info on Anneka please. Don't be shy now, we all have pleasant memories,
I believe there was an original song dedicated to the ship 'Ellan Vallin'.

This was about the Isle of Man steam packet boat of that name that was swamped and sunk by 20 foot waves off the Mersey bar in December 1909.

All 21 hands were lost plus 19 passengers, no survivors.
