I'm amazed that nobody has noticed how well Anita was performing in the Lightweight Classic. For those that don't know, Anita was up to 3rd on the 3rd lap, before an LT wire broke at Churchtown. I declare an interest here, as Richard Rose and I worked hard on the bike on Saturday, but nonetheless, Anita's performance is well worthy of a special mention. And anybody that can spend two weeks in THAT paddock and get a result has my vote. Well done Anita, come back next year!
I agree Nick, saw her through the Bungalow and she was going really well. As for the paddock, come on somebody things must change!
Yep, the girl was flying, sorry to hear that she had retired

Yes, Anita is a fine racer indeed..!!! It was a real pleasure to meet her..!! And she worked every so hard on her bike, just to get it qualified.... she deserved a finish for sure..! I have a few pictures of her, and I will post them once I get home and figure out how to do it....
Cheers..!!
Ron - Headed back to sunny California..
Thanks Guys - your support is very much appreciated... great photos too!
I tried my hardest and gave it my best shot, but sometimes you need a bit of luck as well... It was a brand new spade terminal that snapped - ironic considering that I'm a qualified Auto Electrician! It was a terminal that I fitted Saturday morning when I swopped the ignition over from the other bike.
Nevermind - theres always next year. I'll just have to count the 2009 MGP as Practice for the 2010 MGP instead
Need to catch up on sleep now because I didn't get much at the Manx (too busy rebuilding engines til 4.15am)
Good luck !
