My name is Michael Harrison. I live in Sedbergh, a small town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and 10 miles from Kendal.
I have been coming to the TT & MGP most years since 1967.
In 1972 my farther first sponsored the late Danny Shimmin up until 1982.
At this point i became Danny's mechanic following the World Formula 1 championship.
Following the death of Danny in the 97 Manx i disappeared of the scene until 2004 when i found the interest to return to Marshalling duties at Greeba Castle, something i took up in 1990 on the days Danny was not racing. |
