Agreed John, a lovely tribute to Derek

So tragic when one so young and talented is taken.

R.I.P

I went to gorse lea on the evening of Derek,s accident and spent some time in prayer and thought. I laid some flowers on the side of the road. The following morning they had disappeared, does anybody know where they were put ?.

Pat, there were bunches of flowers arrived on the ivy-covered tree throughout the week. I expect that Derek's family, friends and crew arranged them as I know that they spent some time there. I'll be very surprised if yours are not amongst them.

There is also a (chance?) tribute to Derek (a photo of him competing in the TT last year) on the cover of the June edition of Manx Tails.
