Klaffi retires from racing - Malcolm - 17-09-2011

Klaus Klaffenbock has announced his retirement from TT racing, and racing in general.
Klaffi's TT career started in 2004 and as he tried to achieve his lifetime ambition of winning a sidecar TT winner's trophy.
At TT2010 with ace passenger Dan Sayle in the chair he did the double and added another this year.
In a press statement Klaffi says he will stay involved with the TT in the future.
He goes on to add his thanks to passenger Dan Sayle, sponsors Manx Gas, A&J Groundworks, Manx Telecom, Home Strategic, GTC, Alpha Boilers and everyone else who has supported him, in particular all the TT fans.
He told Ed Oldham why he'd made the decision:

Dan hasn't got a clue as yet, sidecar or solos he doesn't know. A few things have come up, let just say he's got few decisions to make ova the next couple of months. X
