Donny Williams Dies in Fatal Accident at His Works + Funeral Arrangements - Malcolm - 18-11-2011
Tributes have been paid to a much-loved father killed in an accident at Airbus.
Donald Williams, 62, from Brunswick Road, Buckley, died following an accident at a garage at the wing-making factory in Broughton on Wednesday night.

Motorcycle fan Mr Williams, known fondly as Donny, was taken to Countess of Chester Hospital but died later from his injuries.
A joint investigation has been launched by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and North Wales Police.
A statement from his wife Sheila, 58, said:
“Donny was much-loved and respected by all of his family and friends. He always lived life to the full and had a long and successful career in motorcycle sidecar racing.
“He would have been at the TT riders’ lunch next week and he will certainly be missed by his friends there. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed a pint with his friends. He was an all round great guy. We are obviously deeply upset and devastated.”
Broughton site manager Paul McKinlay said:
“Everyone at Broughton is deeply shocked and saddened by this tragic event. All our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.”

This a tragedy,one of lifes and motorcyclings stars in the 80s.
Donny was always up for a laugh,had many a pint at tt in the british, a great sidecar passenger,rip donny,thoughts with your family.pitlane.

Donny's Funeral Arrangments
Information has been received today on Donnys Funeral Arrangements.
The Funeral Service will take place at St. Andrew's Church, Bebington on Tuesday, November 29th at 12.30 p.m., followed by Cremation at Landican Centre Chapel at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to The T.T. Riders Association and Clatterbridge Hospital League of Friends. All enquiries and donations c/o F. R. Kirk and Son Funeral Directors, 20 The Village, Bebington. Tel: 0151 645 3035.
