LW 400 / UL 125 Delay - Anonymous - 02-06-2003

The LW 400 / UL 125 race has been delayed for 30 minutes. Hope to get away around 11:15.

Reason - Low cloud on the mountain.

Neil Hanson announces a further delay. Anticipated start now 11:45.

125cc

61, 66, 73 & 77

Although Michael Wilcox (77) will now start with 61 which was James Crumptons number. Technically 61 is a non-starter.

Richard Britton first away with McGuinness on his tail.

Chris Petty (20) was announced as a non-starter just before the off. However he has made the start.

John Barton stops at Quarter Bridge to make adjustments after a head shaking start from the line.

McGuinness in front by about 3 secs, with Richard Britton in 2

Wilcox is away in the 125 with Palmer and Dunlop following on.

Ramsey it is McGuinness leading Farquhar by about 2 seconds.

125 it is Wilcox first on the road with Palmer catching him.

Wilcox runs through on to lap 2 in the lead with Palmer close behind. 24 seconds up ???

Palmer has a close one with Peter McGee (47) at the botom of Glencrutchery, nearly touching fairings.

Lougher about 9 seconds behind Palmer.



Lap 2 - Anonymous - 02-06-2003

McGuinness is 16 seconds up on Farquhar who is 5 seconds up on Britton.

Wilcox 1st on the road with Palmer less than 1 second behind.

Russ Henley retires at the pits after 1 lap.




400 cc in the pits - Anonymous - 02-06-2003

McGuinness and Britton in, fuelled and out with McGuinness in front by about 15 seconds.




125cc at Ramsey - Anonymous - 02-06-2003

Palmer is about 7 seconds up on Wilcox and is looking good for the lap record.



Glen Helen - Anonymous - 02-06-2003

McGuinness in front with Britton behind and Farquhar following. Britton and Farquhar cannot be split on timing. John Barton retires.
