There is no question about the technology that has been put in to the project , the problem is the concept , the pretence of the Green credentials , for if you scrutinise the green element , it just does not stand up , and that is why there are so few people investing in the project , sorry I said I would stand down from this thread , by by

Yes, but he also Tweeted a link to an article that said that prior to the DED getting involved about 10 years ago, the TT was all but extinct, and I dont believe that either.

Valid point eddy, however the opportunity to showcase the event for the island and clearly the TT itself holds positive exposure. I'm pretty sure the manufacturers gain valuable data which in time hopefully will allow the manufacture process to become "greener" / "carbon efficient" fortunately for us when the internal combustion engine was the new big news there was no pressure to be "green"

Roughly the same as before, so allowing for the inevitable no-shows expect the number of starters to be in single figures.  Again...
