Ultimate Lap - Sackman - 31-01-2015

Does anyone know what would be the ultimate lap time ? Fastest sector times recorded to record a virtual lap. I guess it would prove what time is possible...... In theory..

My these winter nights are long!!!

Thanks Luca I knew I had seen it some where but just could not remember where , When you think about it the top men are so close , awesome to be that close to perfection for a full lap , and to be pushing that hard for 6 laps is such a big ask I think , must be exhausting

Thank you Luca, that makes for an interesting read. I wonder how long we will have to wait for the 133.634 mph lap????

RE: Ultimate Lap - Shooie - 02-02-2015

Ultimate lap time???
Easy to answer.. But difficult to achieve...
Get Bruce Anstey to get out of bed on the "right side" and focus on the job in hand Smile

Bruce is more than capable of setting a blistering, but safe, lap time.

RE: Ultimate Lap - Virgil - 03-02-2015

None of the above sector times are Bruces, On his fastest lap time he got held up at the Black Hut and getting it wrong at the Creg !!

Md broke the lap record twice earlier in that race, How much time do you loose from the "standing start scenario "

Your right Virgil.
I was just saying that Bruce is more than capable of doing the ultimate lap all by himself.
Then again a "virtual" fast lap is just something to dream of... until Smile

RE: Ultimate Lap - Virgil - 06-02-2015

I watched Bruce break the lap record at the UGP on the TAS Suzuki. That lap was amazing, the man was unbeatable !! Shortly afterwards he gets his p45 from Hector and Phillip which was crazy !!

Bruce has had wins at the TT since leaving the TAS team, the same cant be said for the TAS riders that replaced him !
